Welcome to my SmugMug Gallery! My first group of shots are from my favorite place - the San Francisco Zoo. These will be updated periodically, since I visit there frequently. I love studying animals, and also photographing them.
Most of my shots (zoo, aircraft, ships & birds) are with the Canon 100-400mm L IS zoom lens . I had originally had this 100-400 lens on my film camera, and when I converted to digital a few years ago, I found the Canon 5D had the full size sensor that I was looking for. Since then, I've upgraded to the 5DIII. Sure beats that little Kodak Instamatic I had as a kid!
Most of the concert photos were taken with a Canon 70-200mm 2.8 L IS, which is perfect for low light. For flowers & insects, I use a Canon 100mm L IS macro, which can be used in hand or on a tripod.
Just as a side note: The Pacifica Arts logo is Not printed on the purchased photos.
