Welcome to my SmugMug Gallery! My first group of shots are from my favorite place - the San Francisco Zoo. These will be updated periodically, since I visit there frequently.
I had great fun at Fleet Week last year, photographing the various jets and also at the Festival of Sail, where I viewed ships under full sail in the San Francisco Bay. I used my Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM zoom for most of my shots, and a shorter lens, EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM for the closer pics. The 100-400 zoom lens was perfect for those moving jet photos, far away zoo animals, and is also great for bringing in the ships across the bay. I used a Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM lens for the concert pics, which did well in low light. I am very pleased with my Canon 5D, and am still learning about all those optional buttons.
